Q: Do you install pole tent lighting?

A: Yes! We offer professional lighting installations inside our pole tents, with two options to suit your style:

Basic:
A simple, elegant setup.

Deluxe:
A premium look with added ambiance.

You can choose between black wire bistro string lights and white wire café bulb lights. We handle all cords and junctions—just ensure there’s a standard household plug available within 100' of the tent installation area, and we’ll take care of the rest.

What size of dance floor is recommended inside a 40'x60' tent?

For a wedding in a 40' x 60' pole tent, the industry standard suggests 9 sq ft per couple (over 4.5 sq ft per person). With 170 guests, approximately 40% (68 guests) will likely be dancing at any one time, requiring around 270 sq ft of dance floor—a 15' x 18' dance floor is a great fit.

This is just a guideline. The ideal size depends on the type of event, guest demographics, available space, and your specific needs. Below is an example of how a 15' x 18' dance floor could look inside our 40' x 60' pole tent rental.

BEFORE BOOKING PLEASE NOTE: There are a few requirements that you should be aware of when renting our 40' x 60' pole tent.

- This tent has to be staked on grass. Our tent stakes go into the ground 37"- 45". So, we require a line locate and for you to let us know if there are any underground sprinklers (or anything at all underground where we will be hammering in the stakes). Here is the website with more information: https://www.sask1stcall.com/ We will require you to send us confirmation that we are cleared to stake the tent in your requested area. (This may take up to 3 Business days to get them to come). Additionally, you will have to sign a form that states we are not responsible for anything that may be damaged in the area cleared for our tent install.

- The tent area will require a clear flat freshly mowed grass area, free of debris and obstructions to safely install this tent.

- The area where the tent is being installed must be level

- The tent height is 20' - 25' at its highest point and will require the space to be completely free of tree branches, power lines or any other obstructions.

​- The 4 corners of the tent area will have to be pre marked upon our arrival so we know exactly where the tent will go (it can be marked with spray paint (white spray paint only) or household items).

- We require direct driving access up to the tent setup area.

- This tent will only be installed and taken down on days with decent weather. Sometimes we will have to setup a day or 2 early or take down, or a day or 2 late to allow tent to properly dry. If this occurs, we may setup the tent one day and come back the day before your event to drop the remaining rental items.

- If you have any questions regarding our 40' x 60' tent, please do not hesitate to reach out). We make our delivery schedules every Sunday. The reason that we choose the Sunday before your event it is to properly assess weather conditions to give accurate tent install dates and times.
