🛠️ Step-by-Step Setup Instructions
- 📦 Unpack and Place the 10x20 Tent
- Take the tent out of its bag and move it to the spot where you want to set it up.
- 👥 Get Ready to Set Up
- You’ll need two people—one person on each side of the tent.
- Grab the outer legs and start pulling the tent apart like an accordion.
- ⬆️ Extend the Tent
- ⚠️ Important: Keep all the tent legs off the ground while pulling to ensure it extends smoothly.
- Pull the tent until it's about one-third of the way open.
- 🔒 Fully Extend and Lock the Legs
- Give the tent a little shake to lift the legs off the ground, then keep pulling until it’s almost fully open.
- Lock each leg into place by snapping it in. Start with the corners, then move to the middle legs.
- 🔗 Secure the Canopy Top
- Attach all the Velcro straps under the tent top to keep it tight. This helps prevent pooling if it rains. 🌧️
- 📍 Reposition the Tent (If Needed)
- If the tent has shifted, lift it slightly and move it back to the correct spot.
- 🌬️ Lift the Tent to Adjust for Wind
- If it’s windy, lift one side of the tent, starting with the side facing the wind. This prevents the wind from blowing the tent away.
- ⚖️ Secure the Tent with Weights or Stakes
- Using Weights: 🪨 Place weights over each leg to hold the tent securely.
- Using Stakes and Ratchets:
- Drive a stake into the ground next to each leg.
- Attach a ratchet strap to the tent arm, loop it through the stake, and tighten it.
- ⚠️ Don’t overtighten—tighten just enough to hold the tent in place.
⬇️ Taking Down the Tent
- When it’s time to take down the 10x20 pop-up tent:
- Fluff the Top: Give the canopy a light shake to ensure nothing is stuck in the top.
- Collapse Carefully: Unlock the legs and fold the tent back into its original shape.
